Following yet another massive round of earthquakes in Christchurch, dad said something today that I never expected to hear from him. Usually I would expect him to say something along the lines of how bad the quakes are or after a few weeks of media coverage that although we all feel bad for these guys, we can’t do anything and stop reporting on it etc…

Kinda feel like going on a midnight roadtrip to the beach with a picnic blanket and a basket of food, portable radio and sleeping blankets… and probably some marshmallows if I can find any…
Tomorrow I will suffer the experience of Auckland’s public transport… I expect to be sucked into a different dimension after about 7 delays and half drowning…in the name of making other people happy.
I could avoid this misery but then again…
